Pet owners showed off their pooches for a good cause during the first Ruffminster Dog Show and Fair in Sea View, Staten Island on Sunday.

Dog lovers gathered at the Henry Kaufman Camp Grounds in Sea View for a day of fun.

The event, which was sponsored by the Jewish Community Center, featured dogs of all sizes and ages, and some of the dogs were up for adoption.

There were also contests for best costume and best trick.

“It’s really just for dog owners to have some laughs with fellow dog owners and dogs, and they just come out and have a good time and enjoy,” said JCC sports and recreation director Mike Reape.

Proceeds from the event went to two local animal rescue groups.
